Rancho Cordova grew up around back-office operations — large insurance and financial-services campuses that employ thousands of people who never touch a customer face-to-face but generate enormous volumes of retired laptops, monitors, and server hardware every year. A growing cluster of tech tenants has added even more IT equipment turnover to that base. When one of these campuses refreshes a floor of workstations or retires a server room, they need a recycler that can document every serial number, not just haul equipment away.
- Insurance and financial-services back offices — bulk workstation refreshes and server room retirements with strict audit requirements.
- Corporate IT departments — scheduled hardware lifecycle replacement across multi-floor campuses.
- Growing tech-sector tenants — smaller but increasingly common equipment decommissioning projects.
Desktops, laptops, servers, networking switches and racks, UPS battery systems, monitors, printers and copiers, and hard drives with certified destruction on-site or at our facility. Large-volume pickups are scheduled around your operations, not the other way around.
Rancho Cordova and our Pell Circle facility are both in Sacramento County, so equipment doesn't travel far between your floor and the shredder. The program itself is our standard six steps. We set up collection equipment for the refresh, train the staff who stage it, and run the pickup ourselves. Serial numbers are recorded when your audit team needs them, drives are wiped or destroyed during processing, and certificates and reports land in the client portal. Server rooms follow the same path through our data center decommissioning service.
No. California's universal waste rules keep TVs, computers, monitors and batteries out of household and business trash. We don't offer residential service ourselves, so Rancho Cordova residents can take their own electronics to Secure Recycle, our sister company for consumers, which operates from our Sacramento address at 3921 Pell Circle.
Every pickup runs under our ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, with full chain-of-custody documentation from the moment equipment leaves your floor to final disposition — the audit trail corporate compliance teams expect.
Request a quote and tell us the scope — a single server room or a full-floor refresh. We also serve nearby Folsom, Elk Grove, and Carmichael.
No obligation. We respond same business day.
Reviews
A little bit off the beaten track in Natomas, but Modern Waste quickly and efficiently helped me recycle my broken Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries at a reasonable $/lb fee (Sac county e-waste will not accept these items). Ramiro and Vincent were very friendly and helpful.
Chris was awesome! He came in and picked up all of the e-waste we had ready for him. He was polite and professional throughout the entire process. He handled the equipment with care, including the site equipment that was already in place. I am very happy with his service and appreciate the great job he did.
Aaron and Vincent were awesome, excellent customer service!
