Reviews
A little bit off the beaten track in Natomas, but Modern Waste quickly and efficiently helped me recycle my broken Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries at a reasonable $/lb fee (Sac county e-waste will not accept these items). Ramiro and Vincent were very friendly and helpful.
Chris was awesome! He came in and picked up all of the e-waste we had ready for him. He was polite and professional throughout the entire process. He handled the equipment with care, including the site equipment that was already in place. I am very happy with his service and appreciate the great job he did.
Aaron and Vincent were awesome, excellent customer service!

We have answers.
Hard drives, SSDs, data tapes, thumb drives, cell phones, tablets, CDs, DVDs and floppy disks, along with paper records. Defective or retired devices can be disassembled so the storage inside is destroyed before the rest is recycled.
On-site shredding brings our mobile shredder to your location, so your team can watch the drives destroyed before they leave the building. With off-site service, we collect the media on our own trucks and shred it at our Sacramento facility, with custody tracked from pickup to shredder.
Both end with a Certificate of Destruction and a serial-numbered report.
We quote from media quantity and type, the destruction method, on-site or off-site service, pickup logistics, inventory detail and the reports you need. A box of loose drives is quoted differently from a job that needs drive removal, serial capture or witnessed shredding.
A recurring schedule or bundling related materials can simplify logistics, depending on your site.
Drive serial numbers are scanned and archived before shredding, and each job is documented by serial number, quantity and weight. Your certificate comes with a serial-numbered report you can match against the devices you released.
Anywhere in California, and in the Reno and Sparks area of Nevada. Off-site jobs start with a pickup by our own crew and finish at our Sacramento facility at 3921 Pell Circle. On-site jobs come to your address.
We quote loose drives, full cabinets of media and recurring schedules. Send the details to get started.
