Reviews
A little bit off the beaten track in Natomas, but Modern Waste quickly and efficiently helped me recycle my broken Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries at a reasonable $/lb fee (Sac county e-waste will not accept these items). Ramiro and Vincent were very friendly and helpful.
Chris was awesome! He came in and picked up all of the e-waste we had ready for him. He was polite and professional throughout the entire process. He handled the equipment with care, including the site equipment that was already in place. I am very happy with his service and appreciate the great job he did.
Aaron and Vincent were awesome, excellent customer service!

We have answers.
Diagnostic imaging systems such as MRI and ultrasound machines, dialysis units, surgical devices, lab testing equipment, monitors, dental and ophthalmic devices, and medspa equipment. We also take the computers, servers and drives from medical IT, plus batteries removed from clinical devices.
We identify data-bearing components when the job is scoped, then wipe or physically destroy them using the method you approve. Custody is documented from pickup through processing, and you receive certificates for the destroyed media.
Your organization keeps responsibility for its HIPAA policies and retention decisions. Our records give your privacy and compliance teams evidence of what happened to each device.
An inventory of the equipment and accessories, with quantities, models and photos. Flag anything that needs deinstallation, rigging or a utility disconnection, and any area with restricted access.
Plan clinical decontamination as a separate step from the recycling work. Tell us about batteries, heavy units or unusual components before pickup day so the right crew and containers are assigned.
Each quote is specific to the project. It reflects the equipment mix and quantities, deinstallation and loading conditions, the data destruction method, serial-number reporting, the certificate format you need, and your timeline. A one-time cleanout is scoped differently from a phased decommissioning or recurring service across several clinics.
Hospitals, health systems, clinics, imaging centers, surgery centers and medical offices throughout California. Work is scheduled from our Sacramento operation, subject to route availability and project scope, and our own crew handles every collection.
One-time cleanouts, phased decommissioning and recurring service for clinic networks are all quoted from your inventory.
Only need drives or storage media destroyed? See secure data destruction.
