Antelope is one of the newer residential communities in north Sacramento County, with subdivisions that have grown steadily as families move in from across the region. Newer houses fill up with old laptops, gaming consoles, and battery-powered devices as fast as older ones. The shops, offices and service businesses that grew up around those subdivisions get pickup on our Sacramento-area route. Families are served separately by our sister company, Secure Recycle, at the same Sacramento address.
- Small businesses and offices: pickup for retired office equipment, plus certified hard drive destruction.
- Shops and service businesses: battery and electronics pickup on our Sacramento-area route.
Laptops, desktops, tablets, gaming consoles, TVs, routers, all battery chemistries, and hard drives, with certified on-site shredding available to businesses on request. Copiers, printers, phone systems, modems, audio and video equipment and battery-embedded devices are accepted too.
The difference is who handles it. A business books a pickup with us. Households, including anyone running a business out of a spare room, recycle through Secure Recycle at 3921 Pell Circle in Sacramento. We don't run pickups from homes or provide residential services.
No. California's universal waste rules keep electronic devices and batteries out of household trash and dumpsters, and that includes the box of dead chargers and the old TV in the garage after a move-in. Families here can take them to our sister company, Secure Recycle, a short drive away in Sacramento.
Households near Antelope can recycle all three through Secure Recycle, our sister company at the same Sacramento address. A business retiring computers, laptops or TVs should book a pickup with us, so the drives can be logged and documented.
Business pickups follow our six-step program: containers and labels, staff training, pickup by our own crews, tracking by ticket and weight, reuse-first processing at our facility, and certificates and reports at the end. Every load from Antelope is processed under our ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, and business customers get a certificate of recycling for their records.
Businesses can request a quote and we'll set a pickup window that fits your schedule. We also serve nearby Citrus Heights, Rocklin, and Sacramento.
No obligation. We respond same business day.
Reviews
A little bit off the beaten track in Natomas, but Modern Waste quickly and efficiently helped me recycle my broken Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries at a reasonable $/lb fee (Sac county e-waste will not accept these items). Ramiro and Vincent were very friendly and helpful.
Chris was awesome! He came in and picked up all of the e-waste we had ready for him. He was polite and professional throughout the entire process. He handled the equipment with care, including the site equipment that was already in place. I am very happy with his service and appreciate the great job he did.
Aaron and Vincent were awesome, excellent customer service!
