Storey County is a county located in the state of Nevada, USA. It is the second smallest county in Nevada in terms of area, covering 264 square miles, and the third least populous county with a population of 4,140 as of the 2024 census. The county seat is Virginia City, which is known for its rich history and tourism industry. Storey County is home to the United States’ largest industrial park, the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center (TRI), which covers 104,000 acres and has the capacity of 80-million-square-feet of industrial space.
