About Lincoln, California
Lincoln is a small suburb of Sacramento, California, located in Placer County. It has a population of approximately 53,108 people as of the 2024 census and is known for its small downtown/old town district with some older neighborhoods and some newer, cookie-cutter neighborhoods. The town is separated from the bulk of the Sacramento area by a few miles of thinly developed land, and there isn’t much to do in town, so you need a car. However, it is a great place to raise a family, with a safe environment and access to everything you could need in a town. The town’s traditions and culture add a wonderful atmosphere, especially during the holidays. Lincoln is also 2 hours in between the mountains for great skiing or the ocean for surfing. The local trails are awesome for family outings and there are plenty of great family-owned restaurants.
