An e-waste technician may disassemble electronic devices, sort materials like batteries, lights, e-waste and scrap materials. They use pallet jacks, hand and power tools, operate a forklift, tippers and conveyors to process materials received.

There are 4 major aspects to this position:

  • Mechanical Disassembly
  • Sorting
  • Packing
  • Equipment Operation

Applicants with previous experience working with computers and/or electronics will be given priority.

Starting Wage Ranges From: $41,200 to $55,600 DOE (wages + average quarterly bonus)
